MINSK, 18 January (BelTA) – The national conference “The first step into science” will be held in Minsk on 24 January, BelTA learned from the press service of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus.
More than 200 high school students, teachers and educators from all regions of Belarus will take part in the conference. This will be the first time the forum will be held in this format.
At the plenary session, young scientists of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus will present reports on promising fields of study in domestic and foreign science, as well as good practices of scientific organizations. The participants will be able to see an exhibition of sci-tech solutions developed by young scientists of the National Academy of Sciences and visit the institutes of the academy. Experts will name the best speakers in each of 10 breakout sessions across various areas of science.
The conference is designed to find students interested in scientific work, to help develop their presentation skills, and educate them about achievements of Belarusian science.
The event is organized by the Council of Young Scientists of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus.
