MINSK, 18 June (BelTA) – Sooner or later, Vladimir Zelensky and other representatives of the Kiev regime will be held to account by the Ukrainians they are sending to die, political observer with the media group Rossiya Segodnya Vladimir Kornilov told BelTA’s YouTube project V Teme [On Point].
A reminder, during the second round of talks in Istanbul, the Russian delegation offered to hand over the bodies of 6,000 Ukrainian servicemen to Kiev. The Russian side prepared them for transportation and took them to the exchange site on the border, but the Ukrainian side did not take the remains. The process of handing over the bodies began a few days later.
“This is how Kiev treats its dead and its population. There is nothing new here. We showed the Ukrainians how this regime treats them. And the Ukrainians are really treated like cannon fodder. Yes, the Kiev regime does not want to pay big compensations that it promised to the relatives of the dead,” said Vladimir Kornilov.
According to the political observer, the Kiev regime did everything possible to ensure that thousands of Ukrainians were listed as missing. Non-acknolwedgement of the death of servicemen allows the Ukrainian leadership to avoid paying compensations to relatives.
