
MINSK, 25 August (BelTA) – A unified online platform featuring products from inclusive workshops has been launched in Minsk, BelTA learned from the press service of the Belarusian Labor and Social Protection Ministry.
The unique platform allows customers to purchase items made by people with disabilities in workshops of social institutions. The Labor Ministry noted that these are unique items with a special mission.
The website features a catalog of handmade products of all kinds: ceramics, textiles, postcards, jewelry, wooden toys, and much more. All proceeds from purchases go directly to the workshop.
Customers can also learn about the workshop and the people who made the item. Each product has its own special story. The platform incorporates accessibility features such as an intuitive interface and a version for the visually impaired.
