MINSK, 21 May (BelTA) – Minsk Civil Aviation Plant No.407 (aka the Minsk aircraft repair plant) will fully move into new premises near the Minsk National Airport by August, BelTA learned from the company's Director General Yevgeny Vaitsekhovich.

“We will make the last six aircraft in the Minsk 1 airport by 1 July. Then we will shut down that runway and will have to move here [to the Minsk National Airport] within one month,” explained the executive.

The construction of a new aircraft repair plant near the Minsk National Airport is nearing completion. The facility will be able to offer maintenance to any type of aircraft, including Boeing, Airbus, Embraer, and CRJ. The division in charge of aircraft maintenance and repairs is already operational.
