MINSK, 6 June (BelTA) – TIBO is highly instrumental in strengthening international cooperation in information technology, Belarusian Communications and Informatization Minister Konstantin Shulgan said at the opening of the international forum on information and communications technologies TIBO 2022 in Minsk, BelTA has learned.
“TIBO keeps evolving, but one thing remains unchanged: it is a large-scale event that brings together all IT specialists of the country,” Konstantin Shulgan said.
Addressing visitors and participants of the exhibition, the minister emphasized that this year's exposition will showcase IT projects in various sectors of the economy and many technological novelties from Belarus and abroad.
At the exhibition, everyone will be able to get answers to their questions. For example, how the ID card works and what public services can be received without leaving your home or office, as well as what Belarusian cities have already introduced mobile-based public services and what else is planned to be done as part of the Smart Cities project. In addition, visitors to the expo will be able to learn about new tools to promote domestic products and to see how the virtualization trend is shaping the real economic sector.
The minister expressed confidence that participation in this landmark event will help build long-term partnerships and promote international cooperation in the IT sector. He wished all participants successful and fruitful work.
The International Forum on Information and Communication Technologies TIBO 2022 will be running until 10 June.
The exhibition is showcasing products and services from well-known manufacturers of telecommunications equipment, hardware and software, mobile and fixed-line operators, developers and suppliers of high-tech products, security systems, intelligent solutions and services for the household and corporate segment, scientific and educational institutions.
The 4th edition of the Eurasian Digital Forum, the 5th installment of the Belarusian ICT Summit and the II Digital Economy Forum will be held at Minsk Arena. The last day of the forum will mark the ceremonies for the internet award TIBO 2022, Belarus ICT Startup Award and the national competition for youth initiatives Agro 4.0.
