MINSK, 5 December (BelTA) – The potential of the Union State is huge and has not been exhausted yet, State Secretary of the Belarus-Russia Union State Dmitry Mezentsev told reporters, BelTA has learned.
“The potential of the Union State is enormous and has not been exhausted. This is the basis for us to move forward. We have analyzed how many decisions have been made in the Union State over 25 years: 1,455 decisions, of which 308 are decisions of the Supreme State Council and 1,147 are decisions of the Council of Ministers,” Dmitry Mezentsev said.
He also recalled that this year Belarus and Russia approved 31 action plans to implement the 2024-2026 guidelines to fulfill key provisions of the Union State Treaty. The plans include over 300 tasks, and one sixth of them have already been completed.
“If we go back to the turn of 2021, when the Union State programs were approved, more than 930 tasks have been implemented. And we know trade statistics: $54 billion in the past year,” the state secretary noted.
