The Belarusian news agency BelTA launched a photo exhibition titled as "Belarus. Takeoff" at the local railway station. It features the photos narrating the period of 30 years of independent Belarus. This is the maiden edition of the exhibition. The railway station was also the venue for the Meet-and-Greet with cosmonauts. The meeting featured cosmonaut Marina Vasilevskaya, Hero of Belarus, and cosmonaut Oleg Novitsky, a native of Belarus, Hero of Russia. The Meet-and-Greet in Molodechno was also attended by Vadim Gigin, a member of the House of Representatives, director of the National Library of Belarus, and popular radio host Vadim Shepet.
