MINSK, 26 October (BelTA) - The Medininkai (Kamenny Log) and Šalčininkai (Benyakoni) road border checkpoints, which were closed on the night of 26 October, have been reopened, TASS reported citing Lithuanian National Radio LRT.
As it was reported, Lithuania closed both border checkpoints with Belarus from approximately 23.00 on 25 October until 02.00 on 26 October. The border checkpoints have now been reopened.
This marks the third border closure by the Lithuanian side within a week. Earlier the State Customs Committee described such actions as unprecedented.
