MINSK, 2 March (BelTA) – A joint exercise of Belarusian peacekeeping forces and a unit of the British Royal Marines is running in Belarus on 1-14 March, BelTA learned from the press service of the Belarusian Defense Ministry.
This is part of the preparations of the peacekeeping company of the 103rd Independent Guards Airborne Brigade from Vitebsk for the UN peacekeeping operations.
British military personnel started arriving in Belarus on 29 February, with the bulk of the unit arriving on 1 March.
