"On Point"
MINSK, 26 November (BelTA) - The U.S. plan for Ukraine is essentially the Russian plan designed to allow Washington to save face, economist and analyst Serghei Banari said in a new episode of the V Teme [On Point] project on BelTA's YouTube channel.
According to Serghei Banari, NATO is facing a defeat on the Ukrainian war theater. “Russia has accumulated a sufficient number of armed forces, combat-ready and capable of inflicting a strategic defeat on the existing line of contact. Moreover, by the word 'defeat,' I mean primarily a collapse of the front line. And then, as knowledgeable and respected military experts say, the Russians advance into the steppe with no fortified areas where progress will be very fast compared to what we are seeing today,” he said.
Therefore, most likely, the U.S. plan is a forced measure. It aligns with the fundamental key points of the Russian plan, with an understanding between Moscow and Washington allowing the U.S. to present it as its own initiative in order to save face.
He added that there are three types of civilizations. "China is a civilization unto itself, Great Britain is a civilization for itself and couldn't care less about the rest of the world, while Russia or the Slavic civilization is a civilization for everyone, which incorporates peoples, enriches itself through these peoples, and enriches these peoples through itself. It's clearly a partnership. So, concepts like colonies are alien for us. Whereas for them, for Britain, for the Anglo-Saxons, it's a way of life. Moreover, it's an existential question. The possession of colonies is the primary source of their existence,” he noted.
The analyst is convinced that they fear a new world where they will cease to be the singular center that writes the rules and serves as the ultimate judge. “This is very important to understand,” he emphasized. “They are trying to show that they already have this understanding, but they need a breather. For now, we have been and will remain a biological problem for them. It's like a breakwater that cuts down all the efforts of the West, century after century, on their path toward total global domination.”
