BREST, 3 July (BelTA) – Wreaths were laid at key symbols of the people's courage – the Eternal Fire in the Brest Hero Fortress Memorial and the Liberation Obelisk in Svobody Square – in Brest on 3 July. Representatives of the administration of the city and the oblast, representatives of diplomatic missions, public organizations, and religious denominations took part in the events.
Entertainment events are supposed to take place in Leninsky District and Moskovsky District in daytime. A concert will be arranged in front of the central entrance of the Brest Hero Fortress Memorial in the evening. Fireworks will light the skies above the fortress at 22:20. The celebration will end with the nationwide event Let's Sing the Anthem Together!
