GOMEL, 3 July (BelTA) – Multiple events dedicated to Independence Day and the 75th anniversary of Belarus' liberation from the Nazi invaders are supposed to take place in Gomel on 3 July.
A march of veterans, workers, athletes, and artistic Belarusians along Sovetskaya Street was the first one. Following the established tradition, thousands of people went to Truda Square where a solemn rally took place and flowers and wreaths were laid at the mass grave of Soviet soldiers and underground resistance movement fighters.
