Final architectural design for Minsk Mir project by 1 September

MINSK, 13 March (BelTA) – The final architectural design for building the multifunctional center Minsk Mir will be presented by 1 September 2015, BelTA learned from Minsk Mayor Andrei Shorets.

According to the source, the Minsk City Executive Committee and the investor have been instructed to present the final architectural design for developing the area by 1 September 2015. A schedule for demolishing operations, relocation of engineering networks, and involuntary resettlement will be compiled at the same time.

The project to build the multifunctional center Minsk Mir is one of the largest investment projects, which are being implemented in the city. The total area to be developed is 3 million m2. The 320ha land plot will be used to build 14,000 premium-quality apartments, 305,000m2 of office space. A new international financial district will be built there. It will include, in particular, a conference center, centers for recreation and hosting various events, schools, parks and green areas, including a shopping and entertainment center with the rented area of 120,000m2. A park occupying 50ha will be one of the main peculiarities of the area. The park will be able to welcome music and creative festivals and other outdoor events.

According to the Minsk Mayor, thousands of investment projects are being implemented in the city. Most of them are civil engineering ones. Considerable investments are poured into financial sector, real estate operations, retail, and services sphere.
