
MINSK, 28 May (BelTA) - The CSTO Defense Ministers Council approved the organization's decisions on key issues at a meeting in Bishkek, BelTA learned from the Collective Security Treaty Organization.
The parties approved the plan of development of military cooperation of the Collective Security Treaty Organization member states for 2026-2030 and the plan of joint training exercises of the command and control bodies and formations of the CSTO collective security system for 2026.
The parties also approved the methodological recommendations on the organization of joint training exercise for the command and control bodies and formations of forces and means of the CSTO collective security system and on the procedure for developing and formalizing standard formats for describing the supplies of the armed forces of CSTO member states.
The parties discussed in detail the military and political situation in the CSTO area of responsibility and exchanged views on further development of the collective security system.
