MINSK, 12 March (BelTA) – An international quarter has opened at the Minsk International Book Fair, BelTA has learned.
According to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the international quarter is a joint initiative of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Information Ministry of the Republic of Belarus. It gives an opportunity to diplomatic missions accredited in Belarus, foreign book publishers and authors to showcase the best editions of their countries.
Since Belarus holds chairmanship of the Eurasian Economic Union in 2025, the central exhibitor will be an interactive collective stand of the EAEU member states (Armenia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Russia) devoted to a common theme - the 80th anniversary of the Great Victory in the Great Patriotic War.
