MINSK, 22 May (BelTA) – The Western media creates a negative image of Belarus and Russia, Will Eggerton, a blogger from the UK, told BelTA.
"As for the [Western] media, unfortunately, you won’t hear anything good about Belarus and Russia: only stereotypes, like bears roaming the streets, no opportunities, people constantly working in fields. Of course, this is not true. I try to show the reality and let people know that they shouldn't believe everything they hear from the media. Because what the media says is simply a lie," Will Eggerton explained.
The blogger also named his favorite Belarusian cities. "I really liked Rogachev and Belarusian condensed milk [produced in Rogachev]. I also loved Pinsk, it's a very beautiful city with friendly people," he said.

Will Eggerton admitted that he has haters who dislike hearing the truth about Belarus. "I think every blogger has haters. They call me a spy. They ask why I am living here and tell me to go home. But I just ignore it and keep doing what I enjoy," he added.
