MINSK, 11 December (BelTA) - The government has submitted the draft law “On Amending Laws Regarding Physical Education, Sport, and Tourism” to the House of Representatives of the National Assembly of Belarus, BelTA learned from the press service of the House of Representatives.
The draft law provides for bringing a number of laws into compliance with Decree No. 329 of 10 September 2025 “On Improving State Administration in Tourism”. Under this decree, the Sport and Tourism Ministry has been renamed the Sport Ministry, and the National Tourism Agency has been vested with the functions of state regulation and administration in tourism and placed under the jurisdiction of the Council of Ministers.
The bill amends the Code on Marriage and Family, the Housing Code, the Code on Administrative Offenses, the laws “On Weapons”, “On Advertising”, “On Local Government and Self-Government in the Republic of Belarus”, “On Physical Education and Sport”, “On Tourism”, along with laws drafted to enact, suspend, or terminate Belarus’ international treaties.
The House of Representatives’ Standing Commission on Healthcare, Physical Education, Family and Youth Policy has been designated as the lead committee for the bill.
