
MINSK, 27 March (BelTA) – We have resolved many issues related to the preparation for the celebration of the 80th anniversary of the Great Victory, Belarusian Prime Minister Aleksandr Turchin said during a meeting of the national organizing committee for the 80th anniversary of the Victory of the Soviet people in the Great Patriotic War, BelTA learned.
Aleksandr Turchin noted that there is not much time left before the celebration of the 80th anniversary of the Great Victory. “Many issues have already been resolved. The approaches to the event have been supported and approved by the head of state. The government passed a resolution to provide financial assistance,” he emphasized.
The prime minister asked the participants to talk about the remaining issues, and also highlighted the importance of thorough preparation of an exhibition dedicated to the 80th anniversary of the Victory in the Minsk International Exhibition Center.
