MINSK, 4 November (BelTA) – A package of budget and tax bills for 2026 will be up for the first reading at the end of November. This information was voiced during a meeting of the Council of the House of Representatives on 3 November, BelTA has learned.
The bills “On the national budget for 2026’ and “On amending taxation laws" have already been submitted to the House of Representatives. Another one is on its way, namely “On the budget of the state extra-budgetary social security fund of the Republic of Belarus for 2026."
The bills will be reviewed comprehensively. The first reading is tentatively scheduled for 25 November. This is a key task for the immediate future.
During the current session, the parliament has passed more than 23 bills over a month. Another 28 are being reviewed by the standing commissions, with about 10 to be considered at the next sitting.
