MINSK, 15 September (BelTA) – Belarusian Defense Minister Viktor Khrenin talked to the USA’s defense attaché in a military training area and invited him to objectively evaluate the Belarusian-Russian strategic army exercise Zapad 2025, representatives of the Belarusian Defense Ministry told BelTA.
The morning of yet another day of the Belarusian-Russian strategic army exercise Zapad 2025 began with a handshake of Belarus’ and the USA’s representatives in a military training area. “I am glad you have accepted our invitation. We wanted you to look [at the Zapad 2025 exercise] and objectively evaluate it,” Viktor Khrenin said. The defense minister instructed the chief of the International Military Cooperation Department to give the best seats to the American guests and to show them absolutely everything they are interested in.
The American defense attaché thanked Viktor Khrenin for the invitation to observe the Zapad 2025 army exercise.
Representatives of 23 states are present during the exercise today, including three from NATO countries: the USA, Türkiye, and Hungary.
As many as 17 military diplomacy representations of foreign states from Azerbaijan, Hungary, Vietnam, Iran, Kazakhstan, China, Cuba, Russia, Serbia, the USA, Sudan, Turkmenistan, Türkiye, Zambia, Zimbabwe, Peru, and Indonesia watch practical actions of the troops in a military training area outside the city of Borisov. Apart from that, about 150 reporters from 15 countries cover the Belarusian-Russian strategic army exercise Zapad 2025.
