MINSK, 17 May (BelTA) – Teams of the Belarusian army will take part in 27 out of 34 competitions of the International Army Games 2021, representatives of the Belarusian Defense Ministry told BelTA.
Belarus will host three competitions: Polar Star, Sniper Frontier, and Confident Reception. Russia will host the competitions Aviadarts, Army of Culture, Safe Route, Military Rally, Airborne Platoon, Engineering Formula, Masters of Armored Vehicles, Meridian, Open Water, Army Scout Masters, Tactical Shooter, and Tank Biathlon.
China will host the competitions Safe Environment, Suvorov Assault, and Clear Sky. Vietnam will host Emergency Area and Tactical Shooter. Masters of Artillery Fire and Falcon Hunting will take place in Kazakhstan, Military Medical Relay Race and Field Kitchen in Uzbekistan, True Friend in Algeria, Warrior of Peace in Armenia, and Road Patrol in Qatar.
The International Army Games 2021 will take place on 22 August – 4 September.
This year's Army Games feature a number of new competitions. Meridian will test skills of army topographers. Tactical Shooter is meant to test firearm skills. Army of Culture will focus on creative teams.
