MINSK, 5 August (BelTA) – Almost 132,000 foreign nationals have visited Belarus without visas since 1 January 2024, BelTA has learned from the State Border Committee.
Since the visa waiver program was expanded, Belarus has welcomed 12,268 visitors from Europe. In addition to citizens of Poland, Lithuania, Latvia (as well as non-citizens of Latvia), Belarus welcomed 1,027 visitors from other European countries without visas, which accounted for 8% of the total flow. Most of them were from Germany and Estonia: 418 and 196 respectively.
Belarus has welcomed a total of 131,812 visitors from the EU since 1 January 2024 and 932,418 since the launch of the visa waiver program.
