MINSK, 18 April (BelTA) – In 2025 Belarus will celebrate a significant event - the 80th anniversary of the Victory in the Great Patriotic War. The Communications and Informatization Ministry and the national postal service Belpochta announced the release of a special series of commemorative stamps celebrating the 80th anniversary of the Victory, the Communications and Informatization Ministry told BelTA.
A postal sheet “Joint issue of Belarus and Russia. The 80th anniversary of the Victory of the Soviet people in the Great Patriotic War” will be launched on 25 April. The sheet contains three postage stamps. The circulation is 10,000 copies. First-day-of-issue dedication ceremonies will be held in Minsk, regional centers and Molodechno, Minsk Oblast.
The artistically designed stamped envelope “80th anniversary of the Victory of the Soviet people in the Great Patriotic War” went into circulation on 9 April.
Belpochta also launched the artistically designed paper “80th Anniversary of the Victory of the Soviet People in the Great Patriotic War” (for triangle letters) and postcards.
The postal tribute prepared for the anniversary of the Great Victory will make a worthy contribution to the efforts to perpetuate this significant event around the world, the Communications and Informatization Ministry said.
