MINSK, 29 May (BelTA) - Belarus stands in solidarity with China on the fundamental principles of geopolitical security, Chairperson of the Council of the Republic of the National Assembly of Belarus Natalya Kochanova said as she met with Vice President of the People's Republic of China Han Zheng on 29 May, BelTA has learned.
“Our common strategic goal is to build a just world order based on the inviolability of norms and principles of international law, non-interference in the internal affairs of sovereign states,” Natalya Kochanova said.
Belarus has always been and will remain a reliable friend for China. “The all-weather and comprehensive nature of the strategic partnership allows our countries to move forward together. We are ready to further develop political interaction and practical Belarusian-Chinese cooperation in all the areas,” the chairperson of the Council of the Republic stressed.
“We stand in solidarity with China on the fundamental principles of geopolitical security. Peace, consent, sovereignty, non-interference in internal affairs are the main things on which the policies of our states are built today. The tasks set by the heads of state of Belarus and China are the peaceful wellbeing of our countries and peoples,” Natalya Kochanova said.
