Belarus reveals its entry for Intervision Song Contest 2025

MINSK, 19 May (BelTA) – Anastasia Kravchenko will represent Belarus at Intervision Song Contest 2025. She was chosen from among 37 artists by a focus group put together by Belteleradiocompany, BelTA learned from the media holding company.

Applications for the national selection were accepted on the official website of Belteleradiocompany. Both solo performers and groups of no more than six people could compete for the right to represent Belarus at Intervision 2025. The participants should not be younger than 16 and should have a record of participating in television concerts and national music contests.

The final in-person audition took place at the Belarusfilm studio on 18 April. The best ten entries were shortlisted for the national finale. The vocal and artistic skills of the performers were assessed by a professional focus group that included representatives of the music industry, production centers and organizers of the country’s largest music events.

By a majority of votes (8 out of 13), the focus group chose Anastasia Kravchenko as Belarus’ representative at Intervision 2025.

The artist has won a number of international and national awards. Anastasia Kravchenko was a super finalist of X-Factor. Belarus, a finalist of the Getting into Trends show, a laureate of Belarus’ Song of the Year, and New Song of the Year in Moscow. The singer has the YouTube gold play button; her singles were streamed a million times to be certified platinum on streaming platforms. The artist has about 3 million followers on her social media. Anastasia Kravchenko is also a presenter at Belteleradiocompany.

Intervision 2025 will be held at the Live Arena in Moscow on 20 September. Representatives of more than 20 countries are expected to participate. These are mainly BRICS and the CIS member states, Latin American and Middle Eastern countries. Only one entrant per country is allowed to participate. The participating countries will independently select their entry. The winner of the contest will be determined by an international jury consisting of recognized music experts from each of the participating states.

Intervision is set to become one of the key cultural events of 2025. The music contest is meant to demonstrate mutual respect for traditions and values, and highlight the cultural diversity of the participating countries.

The co-organizer of the competition in Belarus is Belteleradiocompany. The contest will be broadcast live by the Belarus 1 TV channel.
