Belarus’ Nesvizh to expand tourist routes

MINSK, 25 July (BelTA) – Belarus’ Nesvizh plans to expand its tourist routes to encourage visitors to extend their stays in the city and surrounding areas, BelTA learned from the National Tourism Agency.

The matter was discussed during a workshop on developing the region's tourism potential. Participants included representatives from the National Tourism Agency, the Tourism Department of the Sports and Tourism Ministry, local authorities, tour operators, hotels, farmsteads, museums, galleries, catering facilities, and other tourism industry stakeholders.

Key discussion points focused on attracting investments into tourism infrastructure and creating appealing tourist packages. The need to establish a tourist information center was also considered with a view to managing visitor flows and providing comprehensive, up-to-date information about local attractions and services.
