MINSK, 20 February (BelTA) – The Belarusian State Dance Company Khoroshki will perform at the Days of Belarusian Culture in the Sultanate of Oman, BelTA has learned.
On 4 March, Khoroshki will perform at the Royal Opera House Muscat, Oman's main concert venue.
The dance company will offer the acts of its golden fund based on rich folklore materials and the Belarusian history. They reflect love to nature, the character of the nation and its historical past. The dance company will show the everyday life of the Belarusian people.
The unique choreographic performance Falconry from the Polotsk Notebook program will take the audience to the castle era of the Belarusian history, show the ancient engagement traditions. Spectators will also be pleased to see the Oriental Fantasy music act performed by the orchestra group of the dance company.
“It is a great honor and joy for the Khoroshki Dance Company to represent the national art of Belarus in Oman. It is a great opportunity to show the uniqueness, originality of the Belarusian people, their traditions and rich spiritual values,” dance company said.
