MINSK, 7 August (BelTA) – Chief of the Air Force and Air Defense Command of Belarus’ Armed Forces, Major-General Andrei Lukyanovich has been to Tehran on a working visit, the Belarusian Defense Ministry told BelTA.
The head of the Belarusian military delegation met with Commander-in-Chief of the Iranian Army, Major-General Seyyed Abdolrahim Mousavi and Commander of the Iranian Air Force, Brigadier General Hamid Vahedi. The parties discussed matters concerning bilateral military cooperation and sketched out ways for advancing it in the future.
The Belarusian delegation also visited a number of military installations as well as the University of Aeronautical Engineering of Iran’s Air Force.
