Belarus, Guinea-Bissau sign memorandums of cooperation

MINSK, 7 May (BelTA) – Belarus and Guinea-Bissau have signed a number of documents to strengthen bilateral cooperation. The signing ceremonies took place in Minsk on 7 May, BelTA has learned. 

The parties signed an intergovernmental agreement on a visa waiver for holders of diplomatic, official and service passports. The document was signed by Belarusian Minister of Foreign Affairs Maksim Ryzhenkov and Secretary of State for International Cooperation of Guinea-Bissau Fatumata Jau.

A memorandum of cooperation was signed between the justice ministries. Justice Minister Yevgeny Kovalenko signed the document on behalf of Belarus.

A memorandum of cooperation in agriculture was signed by Agriculture and Food Minister Yuri Gorlov on Belarus’ behalf.

A memorandum of cooperation between the Industry Ministry of Belarus and the Ministry of Commerce and Industry of Guinea-Bissau was signed during the visit of President Umaro Sissoco Embaló of Guinea-Bissau to Belarus.
