Belarus' government promises best conditions for children's development

MINSK, 27 December (BelTA) – Belarus' Deputy Prime Minister Igor Petrishenko extended Christmas and New Year greetings to the students of the Cherven boarding school for children and young people with special needs on 26 December as part of the Belarusian nationwide campaign Our Children, BelTA learned from the press service of the Belarusian government.

Igor Petrishenko praised the achievements of the students in various creative and sporting events. He stressed that the government would continue to do everything necessary to create the best, most comfortable conditions for life, study, creativity, and physical education of all Belarusian children.

The vice premier presented the institution with two modern TV sets. The children also prepared their handmade gifts.

Founded in 1932, the boarding school is currently home to 281 people.
