‘Belarus’ Future in Your Hands’. Molodechno gets present from Marathon of Unity

MOLODECHNO, 12 October (BelTA) - A new mural called “Belarus’ Future in Your Hands” has decorated a residential house on Veliky Gostinets Street in Molodechno. The house is located in the new residential area of the city, where many young families live, including the Tkachenko family with 12 children, the largest one in Molodechno.

Attending the mural unveiling ceremony was Aleksandr Lukyanov, First Secretary of the Central Committee of the BRSM Youth Union.

“It is important for young people to take part not only in various activities of the Marathon of Unity, but also to do something memorable for Molodechno, the pearl of Minsk Oblast. This unique artwork has a deep meaning. Here we see the hands of a mother, a father and a child - symbols of traditional family values, which young people should preserve. They are holding the contours of Belarus in their hands, and we are all responsible for the future of our country,” Aleksandr Lukyanov said.

He added that similar murals will decorate every city which is to host the Marathon of Unity.

“The young generation is not just the future of the country. It is also its present. Today young people are shaping the image of our state. It is great that Molodechno is the first city in the country to host the Marathon of Unity. The mural will be a memorable gift for Molodechno. It will be showing all of us that our strength is in unity,” Chairman of the Molodechno District Executive Committee Pavel Gubko said.
