MINSK, 26 August (BelTA) – Belarus and China keep strengthening bilateral cooperation in the current conditions, head of the administration of the China-Belarus Industrial Park Great Stone Aleksandr Yaroshenko said during the opening of the Exhibition of Chinese Goods and Services 2024 on 25 August, BelTA has learned.
The China-Belarus Industrial Park Great Stone (Minsk Oblast) is once again hosting an exhibition of Chinese goods and services on 25-28 August 2024. The main goal of the exhibition is to write a new chapter of Belarus-China cooperation and innovation.
He emphasized that this year is very busy for the Great Stone park. "The park has become a center for large-scale forums and events. In June, a session of the Eurasian Intergovernmental Council was held here, after that we hosted the largest Belarusian agricultural forum Belagro. Recently, Premier of the State Council of the People’s Republic of China Li Qiang has visited the industrial park and assessed its development. The exhibition is continuing the series of these remarkable events. In difficult geopolitical conditions Belarus and China keep strengthening bilateral cooperation. The level of our relations has always been high. Economy and industry are among the major areas of cooperation between our countries. It is very important to implement practical measures that will yield significant results," Aleksandr Yaroshenko noted.

More than 100 major Chinese companies presented their products at the exhibition. "Leading experts gathered here to exchange opinions on all topical issues. In turn, participants and guests will find new opportunities for communication and promising partnership," Aleksandr Yaroshenko said.
He believes that the exhibition will become an effective platform for bilateral interaction and achievement of goals. “Promotion of import substitution remains an urgent task for the Belarusian industry. The introduction of new technologies will help to ensure further growth. Chinese companies have significant experience in this area and they are ready to offer Belarus the necessary products. Our companies are interested in long-term partnership," he summarized.
