MINSK, 2 July (BelTA) – First Deputy Defense Minister of Belarus Pavel Muraveiko has met with Defense Attaché of China’s Embassy in Belarus Liu Zhe for a protocol meeting at the headquarters of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Belarus, BelTA learned from the Defense Ministry.
During the meeting the parties emphasized the high status of the Belarus-China relations that were defined as all-weather and comprehensive strategic partnership.
The parties also discussed the current state of defense cooperation and outlined ways to ramp up interaction in areas of common interest. They also exchanged views on issues of international and regional security.
