Anna Lukashenko: Marathon of Unity is growing more popular

MINSK, 21 November (BelTA) - The nationwide social and cultural campaign Marathon of Unity has a unique energy, head of the working group for the campaign Anna Lukashenko said in the  latest episode of BelTA’s project "The Nation Speaks".

The Marathon of Unity has already traveled to five cities in several regions of the country. There is a significant public interest in the project. The interest is growing among participants, residents of the country, journalists and bloggers.

Anna Lukashenko thanked the participants for the noticeable contribution to the campaign and interest to it. "All who organize this project see and feel that it is gaining momentum. Not only in terms of adding more events and activities, but also in terms of people's interest in it. From city to city the number of people wishing to take part in the quest 'This is the homeland of mine' is rising. We see an ever-growing interest and desire of people to participate in the Marathon events and to go to the concert. Certainly, we welcome dynamics and interest of people. Probably, this shows that we have found really interesting formats and we are moving in the right direction", she emphasized.

The project was also hailed for unique energy. According to the organizers' idea, the purpose of the Marathon is to bring people together and you feel this power and energy. "Definitely, this is the best energy that can ever be. It is the energy of love: love of the Motherland and each other, of the work we do. From city to city, our love of this project is growing. More and more people join in and say kind words about it," Anna Lukashenko pointed out.

According to the participants and organizers, the atmosphere of the Marathon events embodies the people's spirit and energy unity.

Mogilev will host the Marathon of Unity on 22-23 November.
