MINSK, 31 July (BelTA) – The government has to formulate strategic projects for implementation with foreign partners and implement them no matter what. Belarus President Aleksandr Lukashenko made the relevant statement during a conference with heads of diplomatic missions, BelTA has learned.
As a result of the meeting with top officials of the diplomatic missions the head of state noted that this event should be more than a conference. The issues that have been raised should be reviewed by the government and by the ministries. “Otherwise, the solemn event has been held, people have gone, and nothing has been left as a result. To be blunt, nothing has been put inside their heads. Men, we need results!” the president said.
Aleksandr Lukashenko stressed that the government should formulate a certain number of strategic projects in order to have proposals that can be offered to foreign partners: “It doesn’t matter whether they are large ones or medium ones. We need to have them. As you’ve said it here, we should walk all over the world and suggest these projects. Instead of just formulating them pro forma we need to secure the implementation of these projects no matter what.”
The Belarusian leader noted that in a number of cases things had not gone as far as the realization of strategic projects. This is why Aleksandr Lukashenko once again underlined the importance of performance discipline.
