MINSK, 31 January (BelTA) –Belarusian President Aleksandr Lukashenko congratulated Sultan Ibrahim on assuming office of Malaysia’s new King, BelTA learned from the press service of the Belarusian president.
"I am confident that constructive and mutually beneficial cooperation between Minsk and Kuala Lumpur in political, trade, economic and other areas will keep growing, which will contribute to friendship and mutual understanding between Belarus and Malaysia," the congratulatory message says.
The president expressed the hope for the intensification of Belarusian-Malaysian relations at various levels and search for new avenues for future cooperation.
Aleksandr Lukashenko wished Sultan Ibrahim good health, happiness and success in his demanding state office.
