Lukashenko sends birthday greetings to president of Equatorial Guinea

MINSK, 5 June (BelTA) – Belarusian President Aleksandr Lukashenko has sent birthday greetings to President of Equatorial Guinea Teodoro Obiang Nguema Mbasogo, BelTA learned from the press service of the Belarusian leader.
“You have devoted most of your life to serving the people. This important mission means, above all, responsibility for the independence and sovereignty of the country, the prospects for its development, security and well-being of its residents,” the congratulatory message reads. 

The head of state noted that under the governance of Teodoro Obiang Nguema Mbasogo, Equatorial Guinea is gradually turning into an industrialized state, meeting its needs in food products, improving the level of medical care and education. The country attracts not only with the beauty of its African landscapes. The functionality of its cities and towns is changing for the better. 

Aleksandr Lukashenko noted that he is pleased to recall the talks with the president of Equatorial Guinea in Minsk and his visit to Malabo, during which the leaders laid a solid foundation for the development of a comprehensive dialogue between the two countries and demonstrated solidarity on the international agenda. 

“I reaffirm my readiness to meet with you at aby time convenient for you to discuss the status of the roadmap of bilateral cooperation and identify new promising areas of joint work,” the president emphasized.

Aleksandr Lukashenko wished Teodoro Obiang Nguema Mbasogo good health, happiness and success.
