MINSK, 1 November (BelTA) – Belarusian President Aleksandr Lukashenko has congratulated Algerian President Abdelmadjid Tebboune and the people of Algeria on their national holiday, Revolution Day, the press service of the Belarusian leader told BelTA.
“This date became a turning point in Algeria’s history, marking the beginning of the heroic path of the nation toward independence and the right to determine its own destiny,” the message of congratulations reads.
The head of state noted that the era of unilateral hegemony and dictate is fading away, making way for a multipolar and more just world order. In such conditions, it is especially important to strengthen coordination among countries committed to genuine partnership based on respect, equality, and non-interference in internal affairs, he stressed.
According to the president, Belarus and Algeria are already demonstrating such cooperation on international platforms by supporting the principles of sovereignty and rejecting the policy of sanctions pressure.
Aleksandr Lukashenko also stated that, at the invitation of Abdelmadjid Tebboune, he plans to visit Algeria in the near future. “I am convinced that our bilateral dialogue will give an additional impetus to further cooperation,” the Belarusian leader emphasized.
The Belarusian leader wished good health and success in future endeavors to his Algerian counterpart and peace and happiness to the brotherly people of Algeria.
