ISLAMABAD, 27 November (BelTA) - As part of his official visit to Pakistan, Belarusian President Aleksandr Lukashenko met with General Asim Munir, Chief of Army Staff of Pakistan on 27 November, BelTA has learned.
It was a closed meeting.
The day before, the Belarusian head of state held talks with Pakistani Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif in Islamabad.
The parties focused on expanding mutually beneficial cooperation with emphasis on practical steps to develop trade and economic interaction. Aleksandr Lukashenko and Shehbaz Sharif reviewed the most promising areas of cooperation and discussed a joint action plan.
