MINSK, 25 February (BelTA) – During his visit to the Minsk Center of Surgery, Transplantology and Hematology on 25 February, Belarusian President Aleksandr Lukashenko thanked Belarusian doctors for their strides in the field of transplantology, BelTA has learned.
“First of all, I would like to say thank you. Not for treating people, but for delivering on your promise that you gave me several years ago. We invested a lot of money, and I do not regret it. Top-notch technology, be it spacecraft, the nuclear power plant and the technology that you use in medicine are a leap into the future. We are going to rely on it,” the president said.
Aleksandr Lukashenko noted that not everyone knows that every sector in Belarus can boast the latest in technology, from woodworking to healthcare. “We should scale it up. If we stop and we lose these beacons, these benchmarks, the country will disappear,” he stressed.
