Lukashenko holds government meeting to discuss agreements with Putin

MINSK, 27 May (BelTA) – After a videoconference meeting of the Supreme Eurasian Economic Council, Belarusian President Aleksandr Lukashenko held a meeting with representatives of the government and the President Administration, BelTA has learned.

One of the topics was the agreements reached during the meeting with Russian President Vladimir Putin early this week. This is, in particular, the work on joint projects on import substitution, military-technical cooperation. The issue of building a Belarusian port on the Russian Baltic Sea was also raised.

As BelTA reported earlier, the leaders of Belarus and Russia held talks in Sochi on 23 May. The leaders discussed in detail the whole range of topics of Belarusian-Russian cooperation, and the progress in the implementation of the instructions given to the governments of the two countries.
