MINSK, 3 December (BelTA) - The government should deal with the counter-sanction measures without prevarication, Belarusian President Aleksandr Lukashenko said at the session held on 3 December to discuss the social and economic development of the country, BelTA has learned.
The head of state noted that this is not the first time that Belarus has faced sanctions. Moreover, the country has been preparing for this for at least six months, and the government has set up a so-called emergency response team.
"In general, the government should deal with these issues in a fundamental way, promptly, clearly, in a military-like style," Aleksandr Lukashenko stressed.
At the same time, the president noted that so far the country has managed to maintain economic growth and make sure most problems do not spill over into the daily lives of people.
