MINSK, 3 June (BelTA) – Belarusian President Aleksandr Lukashenko has sent greetings to the participants and guests of the 13th Festival of National Cultures, BelTA learned from the press service of the Belarusian leader.
“This outstanding event symbolizes the historical continuity of the traditions of the peoples of the world, reflects the open and peaceful policy of modern Belarus. Having united people of different cultures and religions in one national family, we preserve the original values and customs, enriching each other creatively and spiritually,” the message of greetings reads.
The head of state noted that hospitable Belarusians are always open to communication with true friends regardless of their confession and ethnicity. That is why in different years the forum has brought together participants from all over the world, united by noble ideas of strengthening cultural ties and developing relations between peoples on the principles of equality and mutual respect.
“I am convinced that this year's festival will help strengthen friendship between the states, unite millions of citizens of our country in the best aspirations to live in harmony, take care of their land and their home - Belarus,” said Aleksandr Lukashenko.
The president wished the participants and guests of the festival good health, happiness and wellbeing.
