MINSK, 1 February (BelTA) – Belarusian President Aleksandr Lukashenko has extended greetings to Patriarch Kirill of Moscow and All Russia on the anniversary of his enthronement, BelTA learned from the press service of the Belarusian leader.
“All the years of your service at the head of the Russian Orthodox Church, you have been actively caring for your fellow believers, taking great interest in their needs, generously sharing your rich experience,” the message of greetings reads. “Your life is an example of following the holy precepts of the Savior, unswerving faith in Him, for only it can change and transform a person, fill the soul with true meaning and joy. Your prayers warm the homes of the peoples of Belarus and Russia, strengthen our brotherly relations.”
Aleksandr Lukashenko wished Patriarch Kirill good health, prosperity, peace and harmony.
