MINSK, 10 August (BelTA) – Belarusian President Aleksandr Lukashenko has expressed condolences to President Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva of Brazil following the crash of a civilian aircraft that resulted in numerous human casualties, BelTA learned from the press service of the Belarusian leader.
“It is with deep pain and sorrow that Belarus has learned the news of the terrible crash of a passenger airplane in the city of Vinhedo in the state of Sao Paulo and numerous human casualties,” the letter of condolences reads. “The country affirms its solidarity with the people of Brazil during this tragic time.”
The head of state expressed heartfelt condolences and words of support to the families and loved ones of the victims.
