MINSK, 23 January (BelTA) – Belarus President Aleksandr Lukashenko has sent greetings to Katerina Sakellaropoulou who was elected the president of Greece, BelTA learned from the press service of the Belarusian leader.
“Convincing results of the voting in the parliament shows that they support your commitment to maintaining civil accord, creating necessary conditions for the further rejuvenation of the national economy and enhancement of the country's positons on the international arena,” the message of greetings reads.
Belarus and Greece are developing traditionally friendly and constructive relations. “I am convinced that the efficient use of the existing potential of interaction in trade, education, science and tourism fully meets the interests of the two states,” the head of state said.
Aleksandr Lukashenko wished Katerina Sakellaropoulou strong health and every success in her political career. He also expressed hope that the two countries will work together in the best interests of the two nations.
