ST. PETERSBURG, 26 December (BelTA) – A session of the Supreme Eurasian Economic Council will take place at the all-season resort Igora outside St. Petersburg, Russia on 26 December, BelTA has learned.
The Telegram channel Pul Pervogo shared information about how Belarus President Aleksandr Lukashenko spent the morning before the negotiations. Aleksandr Lukashenko started the day by chopping firewood. “The president’s working morning. And how do you warm up before important negotiations?” the Telegram post reads.
A narrow session and an extended-participation session of the Supreme Eurasian Economic Council will traditionally take place. About 20 items are on the summit’s agenda. During the session the president is expected to present goals and priorities of Belarus’ presidency over EAEU bodies in 2025.
An informal meeting of the heads of state of the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS) took place at the all-season resort Igora the day before.
