MINSK, 22 February (BelTA) - Belarus is ready for dialogue with NATO on the principles of equality and transparency, Belarus President Alexander Lukashenko said as he met with students and the academic staff of the Military Academy on 22 February, BelTA has learned.
“As a sovereign state, Belarus is ready for a constructive dialogue, including with the North Atlantic bloc on the principles of equality and transparency. We do not fence ourselves from anyone. We are ready for this dialogue,” Alexander Lukashenko noted.
At the same time, the president stressed that Belarus has its own interests, and they must be respected by partners and those who want to cooperate with the country.
