Lukashenko attending CSTO summit in Yerevan

YEREVAN, 23 November (BelTA) – Belarusian President Aleksandr Lukashenko is taking part in the CSTO summit in Yerevan, BelTA has learned.

At the venue of the CSTO Collective Security Council session, the Belarusian leader was welcomed by Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan.

The event will be held one-on-one and with the participation of delegations. The leaders are set to discuss current problems of international and regional security and the main results of CSTO activities during the intersessional period. The summit participants will also take a look at a wide range of issues related to various areas and outline cooperation venues.

As Belarus is taking over the presidency in the CSTO in 2022-2023 Aleksandr Lukashenko will speak about the priority areas which will be the focus of joint efforts over the period.
