Belarusian People's Congress wraps up in Minsk

MINSK, 12 February (BelTA) – Belarus President Aleksandr Lukashenko declared the 6th Belarusian People's Congress closed and pledged to continue the dialogue on the matters on its agenda, BelTA has learned.

“I would like to thank you again for your work during the two-day forum. That was very useful not only for you, but also for me, maybe even more than for anyone else. We will continue the dialogue we have started here. I promise you that it will be comprehensive and extensive. We will keep discussing problems of crucial importance, primarily those concerning the reforms in our society and the new legislative framework of our country,” the president said.

He wished the participants of the Belarusian People's Congress peace, health, and creative and professional success for the benefit of the future of Belarus.
